Shaken, not stirred. Instead of wine Wednesday, how about shaking it up, literally?! This take on a classic cocktail is just right for Thanksgiving. And, since you probably have some apple cider in the fridge, why not imbibe in this loveliness! Cheers!
Ingredients
- 3 ounces bourbon whiskey (I used Crown Royal)
- 3 ounces apple cider
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
- Ice
- Lemon rind strip
Instructions
- Put the ingredients in a shaker with some ice.
- Shake vigorously & serve in a Double Old Fashioned glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
